Return to the blacksmith Andre of Astora in the Undead Parish. From here, you tin exit out the bottom of the Parish past a Titanite Demon (see the above optinal department if y'all haven't already defeated it) and into the Darkroot Garden. Take the path to the right of the door that is (or was) sealed until you reach a fog door. Pass through it.

Immediately plough right and await for an odd tree: one that is moving ever so slightly. Attack it to reveal a hidden path. Continue along this path and yous'll run across another living tree. Cut it down to go on.

Wait to your right for a set of cleaved stairs leading up. At the top of this path yous'll encounter a Giant Rock Knight. These enemies cannot be backstabbed, so wait for them to attack, then counterattack. Magic and Pyromancy are likewise effective confronting these enemies. Merely past this knight y'all'll find the Wolf Ring, which boosts your poise past 40 points. Go back down the stairs and head right. Walk until you lot reach the cliffs edge, and then, with the edge to your correct side, go along walking. You'll round a corner and find the soul of a proud knight.

Return to where you lot cut down the first living tree and caput to your correct. You'll notice several Giant Stone Knights lying in the woods hither. Getting too close will awaken them, so stay abroad if you don't wish to fight. However, you lot may notice an detail along the right side of this expanse. This is the Elite Knight Armor Ready. You can grab it and run abroad if you lot don't wish to fight the giants and the demonic foliage that pop up.

This leads to the Moonlight Butterfly. Before yous enter, make sure to equip a shield that has loftier magic resistance (such as the Crest Shield). BOSS: MOONLIGHT BUTTERFLY
